Use of my site includes accessing, browsing, or purchasing my work.
All images and text contained on this website remain the property of Adrian Oakes Photography and all content is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws.
Images may not be downloaded, reproduced, copied, projected, or used in any way without express written permission by Adrian Oakes photography.
Image tracking may be in place at any time to identify unauthorised use. Unauthorised use of copyrighted images will be liable for an administration charge and reproduction fee.
Orders & Payments.
When you place a order on my website, I will e-mail you to acknowledge receipt of your order and payment.
All payments on this website are processed automatically by WIX payments via a secure SSL encrypted server.
WIX offers an industry standard secure on-line payments system.
Payment can be by credit or debit card.
UK cheques and bank transfers can also be accepted as a method of payment. Please contact me if you would like to pay using either of these systems.
Ordering my work.
Your order will be suitably packaged to prevent damage during transit. Items will be packaged in the following ways:
Photographic print orders are packaged in a secure rigid box to prevent damage.
Canvas prints are wrapped in bubble wrap and then corrugated card or a box.
Greeting cards are sent in a board backed envelope.
Delivery is included for all UK orders.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of your order please contact me as soon as possible.
Any special order is not covered by UK distance selling regulations.
When the product is returned and is deemed to be not of satisfactory quality you will be offered a choice of either a replacement, or a full refund.
Booking Workshops - Terms & Conditions
I will email you to acknowledge your order and payment.
With one to one workshops you will be able to book a mutually convenient date after the booking.
Adrian Oakes Photography and does not accept any responsibility for accidents, injury, death, carelessness, negligence or lack of punctuality attributable to any workshop Participant(s) or any other person unless this arises from the negligence of the workshop leader acting in the course of the workshop. Any claims will be subject to United Kingdom law in respect of any question of liability and all proceedings will be within the exclusive domain of the United Kingdom courts.
Every effort will be made to ensure the personal safety and well being of every workshop participant. By completing a booking form each workshop participant is doing so understanding the general risks of Dartmoor landscape photography and agrees to comply with the decisions of the workshop leader if applicable at all times. Such decisions will always be intended to keep all participants as safe as reasonably possible thought the duration of a workshop. I use a fully suitable and modern 4X4 to transport all participants within all workshops.
A first aid kit, water, sugary snacks and extra clothing are carried on the workshops.
By acknowledging these terms and conditions and attending a workshop you agree that you understand the potential for adverse weather and that you as the participant are responsible for your own safety and well being.
Participants are required to wear attire suitable for Dartmoor conditions.
Adrian Oakes photography cannot be held responsible for accidents, injury and carelessness when participating in a workshop.
Cancellation of booking
If you wish to cancel a workshop booking you must advise me in writing at least 30 days before the workshop commencement date. For cancellations made within this time you will be refunded the workshop fee.
For cancellations made less than 30 days before the workshop commencement date you will be liable for the full workshop fee.
Changes to workshops
Adrian Oakes Photography reserves the right to make changes to the workshop advertised. Should this unlikely event occur, I will contact you to advise you of the workshop changes, and give you the option of accepting or rejecting the change. If you choose to reject, I will offer you a full refund of your payment for the workshop, or you can transfer the payment you have already made to another of my Workshops.
I reserve the right to cancel any workshop and should this happen, I will contact you as soon as is reasonably possible. Upon cancellation, I will offer you a full refund of your payment for the workshop, or you can transfer the payment you have already made to another of my Workshops.
I check the weather leading up to all workshops. If deemed to be sufficiently poor to affect the quality of the workshop I will offer another date.
